M.A.

Ah, school is killing me. Today I have been exploring the intricacies of Foucault’s madness and Bahktin’s laughter. The problem is my heart really isn’t into it right now. I am also working on a paper on Milton and astronomy as I wade through Paradise Lost. In addition, I am also examining Zora Neale Hurston’s celebration of diversity and Alice Walker’s hate for the same. I am also presenting a paper on something at the LACC. As Sigma Tau Delta President, I also have to figure out how to get a bunch of English majors who only wanted to write about sex and drugs to raise enough money to go to Idaho. Basically, what I am trying to say is, I wish this semester would end. On the brighter side, Thomas and I have taken to trying to sing Psalms in our household worship. A joyful noise sounds about right. Also, I have been reading the 1604 BCP for my comp list. It’s not my favorite version. But it is nice to be able to pray all day and not be considered avoiding my work :-) I would really like to be reading some N.T. Wright but I am busy with my Master’s comp list. I was glad to get questions from y’all about the Peter Leithart article. I also think you should know something very important about me…I want a wife.
