Okay, I am in St. Louis, and some conversations have spurred some questions.

First–Mark 8. Verse 15. Is there some connection between Pharisees and Herod to the numbers 12, 5, and 7 in verses 19 and 20? Also, is 12 a number dealing with government? That was the hypothesis of someone here. He was trying to see if there was a connection, and I know some smart people hang around my blog, so I am throwing it out there.

Q 2 –If we assume the apostles were baptized by John the Baptist (John 1:37-40 and Acts 1:21-22) and we say that John’s baptism wasn’t Christian baptism (saying it is an OT baptism), how do we interpret Acts 19 and the “rebaptism” of certain disciples of John. Is John’s baptism an OT baptism? If so, why is it not in the temple? Aren’t all OT cleansings there? What is John’s baptism? What are the baptisms after that? How are they different? Or are they? What is the baptism in Acts 19? How does Acts 1:21+ fit in? Why does Peter ask for these requirements? If John’s baptism wasn’t “Christian baptism (for lack of a better term),” why do we not hear of the apostles being “rebaptized?” And if so, who was the first one of the apostles to be baptized into this “Christian baptism”, and who did it?

On a more serious note, I went to the Anheuser-Busch brewery today. As the Japanese guy said to us, “Go in there, free beer.” Cool stuff. And I saw that big arch too.
