Apostate papists

I got an email from my pastor continuing a discussion we had at his house Friday. He’s very much not budging on the issue of the RCC being apostate “formally”, so we cannot accept their baptism. He recommended Thornwell in the Hodge-Thornwell debate on the RCC. I was really surprised when he said that in the sermon Sunday, and I am still a bit surprised that he has only gotten stronger on the issue.

Rick’s sleep-talking again

Rick: “I don’t have your car keys.”
Rachel: “Um… why would you need them?”
Rick: “I have to pick something up in them. When the weather is warm.”
Rachel: “When the weather is.. warm? What?”
Rick: “Yeah. Penguins. Little penguins. I think…”
Rachel: “What on earth…?”
Rick: “What?”
Rachel: “Penguins?”
Rick: “What about them?”
Rachel: “That’s it. I’m not talking to you anymore when you’re asleep.”
Rick: “What?”
Rachel: “Good niiiiight.”

Roe v. Wade

I noticed on Michelle’s blog that Roe v. Wade’s anniversary is January 22nd. Let’s start observing Slaughter of the Innocents then instead of December 28th. It’d make more sense, and who cares about church history anyway? We’re protestants!
