Road Trip
Let me tell you the story of a little adventure. We left in Independence, Missouri, in April to head for the Willamette up in Oregon. Everything was fine til Mike was out playing in the bushes and done got bit by a rattlesnake. Next thing you know, Tim’s got a cold. Then Mike gets a cold, and Emeth comes down with cholera. Just when we all started feeling better, Tim came down with a cold, withered skin, disorientation, dehydration, a drop in blood pressure, muscle cramps, nausea and vomiting, suddene severe diarrhea, and thirst. To make things worse, I got bit by a bear, and Kristen became fatigued, got a sore throat, and was really weak. Tim finally healed but got the grippe. Kristen had body aches, constipation, coughing, digestive problems, headaches, and imsomnia. Then Mike got the grippe. Tim got frostbite. Kristen got a concussion. We arrived in Oregon with only a total of $65. All of us were in good health except for Kristen. She was in fair health. What a trip! The only good thing that came out of it was seeing my relative, the founder of multi-million dollar jellybean factory.
