Showing Empathy

We need to “Rejoice with those who rejoice,” and “Weep with those who weep.” Empathy is true friendship and true compassion. Christ, incarnated on our behalf, has gone through trials of human existence. He has humbled Himself for our sakes, and He can truly empathize with us as He shows us mercy that endures forever.

(this is the last paragraph from a short article I wrote about empathy, but it’s not good enough to show y’all the whole thing.)
