Since Rachel has been gone, I’ve been having a Gilmore Girls marathon. In the last episode, Lorelei lamented Rory spending the night at the house next door. She said something along the lines of it being only the second time they’ve spent the night apart…Rachel needs to come back.
In other news, I despise Rory’s new boyfriend, Luke’s nephew, Jess. I really like Dean so much better. Dean had a tendency to assume, be jealous, and blow up at times, but he’s not a punk like Jess. Jess is simply a punk. He should be in prison. I’d rather her go out with Tristan. Oh, and now Rory is contemplating having sex with Jess? I’ve been watching this show for years, and I didn’t have to think about teenage sex. Jess has been with Rory, what, two and a quarter episodes? And already this comes up. *groan* Go back to Dean, Rory; go back to Dean.

I’m guessing that the writers feel Rory needs to go out with a punk or two to get that whole “dangerous guys are hot” thing out of her system. She’s a smart girl and will likely tire of Jess and his ilk soon enough. Especially once she starts college and meets the kind of guys who are her equal intellectually.
I predicting that both she and Paris will go to Yale. I mean, how can the show go on if Rory’s in Boston? And we already know Paris didn’t get into Harvard. I’ll bet Rory does get accepted but decides to turn them down, choosing Yale instead to make her grandpa happy, be near her mom, and stay friends with Paris.
