I thought I’d avoid mentioning it, but a conversation with a friend made me feel like I should at least say something. Paul Hill was executed this morning for the murder of an abortion doctor and his escort. I have mixed feelings about this. Hill was excommunicated from the church I was a member of in Florida. I can’t say that his execution was wrong. However, numerous of my friends were close to the Hills. This makes my position a weird one, though one shared by many other of my friends.
