Well, if you’re looking for productive and interesting, but not necessarily “busy” and “fascinating,” you could try whittling. That’ll slow you down a bit and could end up being profitable if you spend enough time with it.

how about quilting? it’s not just ’sewing circle’ stuff, there is the designing, matching colors (and shades of colors) and then the actual putting together and quilting…doesn’t have to be for just girls, and it is quite productive!

Whittling, cooking/baking, a musical instrument, scrapbooking, writing fiction, and quilting.

I am now fully sure that blogging doesn’t really show anyone what I am like.

I do have tons of scrapbooking material, and I’d like it to be scrapbooked, but I don’t want to be the one to do it.

You could um, put pictures in photo albums. That takes a little bit of time, and it’s not gay like scrapbooking would be for you. But this wouldn’t last very long. You’d need another hobby after a day or less. Hmm…you could get into fishing if there are any places around there to do so. I can’t really think of any better suggestions! I can, though, think of what you would say to different suggestions that pop into my head, and I don’t blame you…
Have y’all been doing any yoga? Forrest got a video and is actually doing it; I’ve done yoga with him a couple times.

when you come up with a good hobby, let me know. i’m bored out of my mind over here. my dad runs as a hobby. he does around 10-14 miles a day. that’s far too much strenuous activity for me.
and for the record, i wasn’t suggesting scrapbooking. i just said i liked it.
