Forrest & Rebekah and Rick & I went to the zoo with our kids and Rick’s sister, Amanda. It was Kyrie’s first official outing, and she slept through the whole thing (except for a quick nursing break). I was really impressed with what Monroe could put together for a zoo. There was a monkey that Rick kept scaring until it actually peed and then a zoo employee looked kinda irritated and we moved along to find some other animals to torture. I wore my pre-pregnancy jeans today and I think I bruised my hips, lol. A little too eager to get back into those, I guess. Rick’s family is here visiting and my mom and little sister are arriving tomorrow evening. It’ll be a full house (it already is!), but it’ll be so much fun. I’m trying ever so much to not overdo it, but I think I’ll tackle the laundry tonight and maybe get Kyrie’s room straightened up. It’s hard to remember that I’m still healing when I feel so great.
