Note for Canadians: Alexander Hamilton is the guy on a $10 bill. Benjamin Franklin is the guy on $100 bills. It’s a reference to a rap song entitled “It’s all about the Benjamins” by Puff Daddy. It’s funny because $10 is not that much money and they’re making it sound like they’re so hot for having lots of “Hamiltons”.
(disclaimer: I don’t listen to rap, but knowing certain bits of pop culture is inescapable)
