I am not a Texas fan. I’m an OU fan. Texas is a rival. But I am just elated that Texas won. Vince Young proved that he should have been the Heisman trophy winner (I think he proved it before the season ended, but oh well). Texas was a class act, saying up to the last minute that USC was number one. Total humility. They didn’t talk smack once.

When Young scored with 19 seconds left, we all yelled and scared my baby girl. (She’s used to me yelling during football games…just not a whole household.) We were getting calls all throughout the game every time USC scored. The phone was silent at the end.

And that game lived up to the hype. Every ounce of it.

Well, Texas earned that one. I’ve been saying all season that Texas’s defense was gonna win it for them this year. I guess it was their offense. I don’t care. USC lost!!!
