So today I drove up to ULM because for some weird reason our power went out for a bit and it was getting chilly in the house. While I was sitting in Rick’s office with Kyrie, she lunged toward my chin and BIT it. It has a nasty little bruise now. Yeah, I think she’s teething. She also loves chewing on my fingers and any toy she can grab.
I’ve got more of the sunroom painted now. All the walls at least have one coat, but only one wall is COMPLETE. I am so done with home projects once I’ve finished this one. I’d love to start focusing on just keeping the house clean and playing with my baby. Things have been quite busy ever since we got back from Spokane. It’s a good busy, though.
Usually, I nurse Kyrie to sleep or rock her until she drifts off, then I let her nap on the couch or our bed. But today, I decided to put her in her crib while she was still awake. She started to cry, but I left the room and closed the door. A couple minutes later, I checked on her. She was fast asleep! I think I should try that method more often.
