Rachel have done a lot more “us” stuff in the last few days than we’re used to. I mean, we’re together all the time. If I’m not doing work, we’re pretty much together. But we hardly ever “do” anything. The last week, in general, has been very busy and we’ve used our free time to do stuff. I don’t even remember half the stuff we did. We bought Kyrie an Easter dress. I’ve been working a lot on my portfolio for my yearly evaluation. It’s nearly finished. I have to make it look prettier, but pretty much everything is in it. I still have like three weeks, so I’m doing well. I know I haven’t been to the gym since Saturday, which is the longest this semester. Of course, last night was mini golf. And I was just procrastinating so I didn’t have to do any work. I graded or regraded about 90 essays in the last 24 hours. Hmm. Okay, I think my brain can relax now.
Our daughter is too friggin’ cute
Brain need stop
I have a good baby
I am feeling very blessed with the child that God gave me. She is really a joy to have. She rarely cries unless she’s hungry or tired. She’s so easy going. Putting her down for naps is a cinch. She might wimper for 30 seconds and then she goes to sleep. I did nothing to deserve such an easy child. God is really good.
mini golf
I had such a great time today! Rick & I went mini golfing with Matt Wilkins & met up with friends Sharon & Josh for dinner at Bennigan’s afterwards. Hey, and I won mini golf! I was quite surprised. Kyrie was really the best baby ever the entire time. She didn’t cry or fuss at any time. I am so blessed! I must now join my husband in the living room to watch The Chronicles of Narnia. More later.
It’s official
I’m a ULM Warhawk.
