I think this is appalling. Having known a few people who have gone through reparative therapy as well as having several friends that struggle with homosexuality, I think it’s just pathetic for psychologists to stamp on people’s religious beliefs. It really is contradictory to their mission. Frustrating. Not surprising.

It’s just as ideologically offensive as “the other side” accuses us of being. We really, really, really talk past one another in this dialogue. Christ offers healing and hope for this very hurt demographic, but the media-visible church is only seen pronouncing hellfire and damnation on them. You know I can go on and on.
