Trick or Treat

Posted by Rachel in Kyrie, Pics, halloween (Wednesday October 31, 2007 at 9:27 pm)

This was really fun to do. Kyrie had a blast. She wouldn’t say trick or treat no matter how much we prompted her, but after we left each house, she’d say “I shy.” Then she’d giggle. It was really cute. She had a great time and totally wore herself out. She’s already tucked in bed for the night.

The coloring is kinda weird in this picture…I think the dress looks more like the color in the subsequent pics.

Fun! We took the kids last night too. We should have gone together! Are y’all coming to the All Saint’s party tonight? I’ll call you later…since I’m sure you are still warm and comfy in bed :)

If I’d known y’all were going too, I would have given you a call!

We’re planning on coming to the party tonight, but we’ll likely be a bit late. See ya there!

I told my kids that it was a trick or treating rule that any Reese’s pb cups were supposed to go to the parents. Dh chimed in and said it was their tax for us letting them go. LOL. It didn’t fly.

Kyrie is such a pretty little girl and her “I shy” is adorable. It sounds like something you would have said.
I miss you all terribly- I wish I could just give her a huge hug right now!

Oh also- Esther was a black cat for Halloween. I made the costume and she was really cute in it.
We went trick or treating at the mall and saw a bunch of people, including the Tiltons (who were letting their kids do trick or treat for the first time, also).
Later we came home and the kids carved their pumpkins and we bobbed for apples before heading to bed sort of late.
The kids were really tired and crabby the next day from all the sugar, though.
It would probably be less exhausting to go around in a quiet neighborhood next year.
