I think Kyrie’s starting to work on 2-year-molars now (the last ones! yay!). It’s so different to deal with now that she’s able to communicate. She told me that her mouth was hurting, and I rubbed her gums and asked her if that felt good, and she said yes. She’s still been pretty grumpy about the pain, though, so hopefully this won’t last too long. I’m thankful that she’s able to express what’s wrong and I’m able to do something about it, though.

Rachel had Kyrie pick a book to read. Kyrie brought her William Barclay’s commentary on The Acts of Apostles. She’s been listening intently for two pages. Weirdo.

I’m 40 weeks and 3 days, so I thought I should get cracking on this. Predict the date and time of Antonio’s birth. Add as many additional details as you’d like (weight, length, color of hair, etc) for bonus points.

Oh, and the points mean absolutely nothing. But it’s still fun!

This pretty much sums up Kyrie’s personality:

Kyrie got to see a very tiny boston terrier puppy today, and now she’s telling me that she wants me to have a puppy instead of a baby brother. I keep trying to convince her that she’ll love a baby brother, but she just says, “No, Mommy have a baby puppy!”

Maybe I’ll just dress Antonio in a puppy costume and she’ll be happy.

Here’s our new dining set. I love it! We bought it a couple weeks ago but it was just delivered today. It has an extra leaf to make it bigger too, but even without the leaf, it’s so much more spacious than our old table (which worked quite well for our first few years of marriage, but as our family expands, we thought we should upgrade).

Kyrie just got a chip-in playing Wii golf. Oh, and it was a birdie. No help or assistance of any kind. It was awesome! I wish I’d gotten it on video!
