Tea Party 2007?Posted by Rick on November 13th, 2007
Ron Paul’s supporters continue to amaze me. Almost no one I talk to at work has ever heard of Ron Paul. It’s understandable, but it still amazes me because I’ve known about the guy for well over ten years. Even before I knew about him, I knew the name “Ron Paul,” and I knew he was different from every politician out there. A few weeks ago, his supporters “took a blow at tyranny” in honor of Guy Fawkes Day. Now they are trying to drop another money bomb in honor of the American Revolution on the anniversary of the Boston Tea Party.
I wonder if this has any chance of being anything like the “Remember, Remember, the fifth of November” campaign.

This has nothing to do with this post, but…AAAAAAH, why aren’t your pictures showing up? IS ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS PROBLEM???

Hmm…nobody else has mentioned it. It must be your computer. The pics show up on all of our computers (desktop, laptop, work comp). Sorry it’s not working for you!

Yeah, I’ve known about him too. But you come from a somewhat quasi-libertarian background because of your old jaunt with theonomy while at Belhaven, no? That automatically exposed you to people like Gary North. And North worked for Paul back in the 1970s on one of his Texas congressional campaigns (as did John Robbins). If you are selected from the south, conservative presbyterian tradition, it’s probably more common to have heard of him.

I was interested to find that Dr. Paul’s official Libertarianism was only the one year he ran for president.
