I’m 40 weeks and 3 days, so I thought I should get cracking on this. Predict the date and time of Antonio’s birth. Add as many additional details as you’d like (weight, length, color of hair, etc) for bonus points.
Oh, and the points mean absolutely nothing. But it’s still fun!

November 30, 10:46 p.m. Hopefully he’ll come before then, but I think it would be cool to have a baby on St. Andrew’s day. I have no idea how big Kyrie was, so I don’t really have any weight idea to go on except for the 40.5 weeks picture, so I’m going to guess 9 lbs, 4 ozs and 21 inches long. I’m praying for you - hang in there!
November 28th, 2007 at 3:00 pm
Born December 1st at 1:17a and 8 pounds, 12 ounces and 20 inches long with dark hair.
November 28th, 2007 at 3:42 pm
So I seriously look like I’m carrying a 9 lb 4 oz baby in there, Hilary?
It’s fun to hear people’s predictions.
November 28th, 2007 at 3:45 pm
Oh, and Kyrie was 7 lbs 9 oz. & 20″ long, but boys are (supposedly) typically bigger.
November 28th, 2007 at 4:08 pm
I’m going to use Jonas as a prediction.
41weeks 3 days
9 lbs. 11 oz.
22 inches
And hopefully only a 6 hour labour!
November 28th, 2007 at 4:22 pm
Oh, I definitely like that labor prediction, Sarah!
November 28th, 2007 at 5:13 pm
Okay. December 1st at 8:42 PM, 8 lbs. 1 oz., 21″ long. And he’ll have hair like Kyrie. And he’ll be so cute. And you’ll have to post pictures the moment they are taken.
November 28th, 2007 at 5:38 pm
Oh, I don’t know, I normally guess high anyway. 9 pounds just seemed like the right thing to say. He’ll probably be more like 8lb 4oz. What does your doctor (or whatever is delivering the baby) say?
November 28th, 2007 at 5:40 pm
Dec 5 at 2:20 AM weighing an even 8 lbs and measuring 21 inches.
November 28th, 2007 at 5:54 pm
My midwife said he was little, but that was at 38 weeks.
November 28th, 2007 at 6:41 pm
Hmmm… how about tomarrow?
The 29th at… umm 11:02pm and … 8lbs 1oz … 20 1/2 in long! I can’t imagine that he’d have anything but dark hair and dark eyes. Do either of Ricks parents have lighter eyes? Maybe hazel could be possible?
Youssef had blond hair as a kid, but you wouldn’t know that by looking at him now.
Oh and the labor will be much shorter than with Kyrie and you’ll push only when you need to so that will only take a half hour or so, and you’ll only be able to hear the encouraging words from the nice nurses (as all the annoying ones will be home with strep-throat).
November 28th, 2007 at 8:27 pm
LOL Can I have that birth Lynne’? Except the pushing for a half hour.
November 28th, 2007 at 9:38 pm
I was hoping there would be a cash prize.
November 28th, 2007 at 11:26 pm
Hey, don’t laugh, there have been much easier births than that! (I read about some to discover their secret and one really helped me!) Oh, and the cash prize is a baby of course!
November 29th, 2007 at 11:15 am
Well, not to be mean or anything, but I’m thinking you’ll go 42 weeks again but the labor will be considerably shorter with baby #2, maybe 26 hours or so. He’ll be 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 21 inches.
November 29th, 2007 at 11:26 am
OK, December 3rd, in the morning, after laboring through the night for 6 to 8 hours, and he’ll be 8 lb 2 oz and 20 inches long. He’ll have long eyelashes. Oh, and you’ll push for 8 minutes.
November 29th, 2007 at 12:50 pm
Mrs. Butler - my labor was less than 26 hours with Kyrie. Also, I used inaccurate dating with Kyrie (LMP). According to LMP dating, I’m already 41w4d with Antonio.
November 29th, 2007 at 5:53 pm
Wow, you’re more pregnant than I was according to that.
Hey, you found a midwife? What’s going on now? Homebirth or hospital?
November 29th, 2007 at 6:04 pm
Homebirth, Sarah, but under the radar, so I try not to talk about it too much publicly. If you want to hear more, send me a message on facebook and I’ll fill you in.
Btw, I had a backup OB, but he left, and then the replacement backup also left…so my OB’s stranded me anyway. Good thing I had other plans in mind.
November 30th, 2007 at 9:34 am
Rachel, I thought Kyrie took a lot longer to show her little sweet face. I just went back and read her birth story, I thought all that time you were awake was labor time.
So, I revise my guess. Labor for 11 hours, successful homebirth, and 41 weeks 2 days. I hope I’m wrong
November 30th, 2007 at 11:01 am
I don’t hope you’re wrong; sounds good to me!
November 30th, 2007 at 8:39 pm
Well, I suppose I need to put in my guess….hmmm……
I think baby will arrive December 2, at about 3 pm in the afternoon, and the sun will be streaming in the window. He’ll be about 8 pounds or a little less, and of course he’ll have tons of dark hair. I think labor will be easier and delivery will be faster.
November 30th, 2007 at 11:03 pm
Our yard is covered in big trees. Sunlight never streams here.
December 1st, 2007 at 12:23 am
If you weren’t already overdue I’d say Dec 9th. How about the second. Sunday is a good day to have a baby. 7 lbs 6 oz.
I hope everything goes beautifully!
December 1st, 2007 at 12:37 am
I’m not overdue yet! Common misconception.
I’ll be “officially” overdue on the 8th.
December 4th, 2007 at 1:08 am
I’ve passed most of your predictions. Hehe!
December 4th, 2007 at 2:56 pm
tomorrow has to be the day since it was my prediction…and i love to win!
December 4th, 2007 at 6:53 pm
That would be just fine with me, Hollie! Plus it’s a date that’s divisible by 5 which is a plus.
December 6th, 2007 at 12:06 am
…the December birth stone is prettier than Novembers anyway…
December 6th, 2007 at 12:34 am
Okay, in less than half an hour, I’ll have passed everyone’s predictions, won’t I?
December 6th, 2007 at 4:13 am
Well hey, if you’re not officially overdue until the eighth, I will go with the ninth! It’s Bryan’s birthday
