Yay!Posted by Rachel on December 4th, 2007
The blog is up and running again! I was feeling so lost without it.
Happy 41 weeks and 1 day to me. I had a long talk with Antonio today and I let him know that it’s okay for him to take his time, but he’s missing out and he’ll really enjoy all the yummy milk he’ll get when he comes out. Kyrie is so excited about baby brother and I think she’s beginning to sense that his arrival is quickly approaching. Sometimes she’ll say, “Baby brother come out of Mommy’s tummy in a minute?” Hehe…a minute long labor. That sounds awesome.

I stumbled upon your site recently and have been inspired in a number of ways! I am also a mother. My oldest is 17 and my only girl, the baby, is six. I just thought I’d say hello, since I noticed we were both up late (you have the bigger excuse though). I am fixing to turn in, I have work tomorrow. So good luck on your new little one! I look foward to more cute posts when he comes. I was concerned and prayed for you when your site went down. Also, your daughter is a cutie! Blessings to your sweet family. –Jen from central LA

So glad the site is back up. I was dying not knowing what was going on. Seriously, you’d think I was the one having this baby!

That is so freaking cute! Yeah, that would be the most intense minute of your life. Hooray for your blog being up again! and the new pictures of Kyrie are adorable.

A minute labor would freak me out! Especially if you didn’t know it was only going to be a minute. “Um, I’m sorry, but could you stop the bus? My labor is over and the head is crowning. Thanks so much.”

Well, Andrew came close to being a minute- as did Esther. They were my easiest, though. Weird. I didn’t have time to be freaked out, I guess.
Actually, I take that back- I WAS freaked out for about 2 minutes with Esther, until Heather prayed with me- then peace rolled over me. She was born about 2 minutes later.
Andrew was born so fast I didn’t even realize he was coming until that minute- it was the easiest of all my seven labors and deliveries!
I pray for you all the time…you know that, of course, but I wanted to remind you.
BTW- the package is ready for Daddy to put in the mail tomorrow.

Maybe Antonio will come on Andrew’s birthday and I’ll have a similar birth story, too!

It would be nice to be like some ladies who don’t know they are in labor and get in the tub to relax and then all of a sudden there baby is born. Wouldn’t it?
