A couple days ago, Rick bought me some strawberry pop. When Kyrie sees me drinking from a can, she says, “Is that Mommy’s coffee?” I’m not sure why she thinks it’s coffee. I don’t even drink coffee!
Also, a new thing she’s doing is adding “Maybe” to the beginning of her sentences. It’s cute. “Maybe read a book?” and “Maybe Kyrie go outside?” are some examples.
She’s also a huge fan of Super Why, a show that comes on PBS. When it’s over, she’ll say, “My Super Why show is over!” and turn off the TV. Then she’ll ask when it’s going to be on again.
She’s really into Bambi right now. The other day she was watching it and she said, “There’s a Mama Bambi, and a Kyrie Bambi,” and later, in a scene where two bucks are fighting, she said, “Two Papa Bambis are fighting!”
She’s too cute.

Everyone down here gives me a hard time about it…but it’s “soda pop.” Some people choose to shorten it and call it soda, others shorten it and call it pop. The only truly inaccurate thing to call it is Coke (when it’s not actually Coke). So there!

Well, we have some of that problem in our own home. Andrew insists that everyone call pop “soda”. It seems weird that Daddy and I have almost always called it “pop”, but Andrew wants us to call it “soda”.
Anyway- Kyrie is so darling! I can’t wait to talk to her in person. I’m sure I’ll understand her better than I do over the phone. She seems pretty talkative, so I hope she’s not too shy with us. 20 days!!!!!!!

As a true Southern girl, they are all cokes to me. Likewise, all tissue is Kleenex.

Yeah, that’s fine with me if people call them Cokes. I just wonder WHY people always have to comment on me calling it pop. It’s like getting after someone for calling Kleenex tissue.

LOL When Ryan and I met he made a BIG deal about me calling soda “pop”. It took me so long to start calling it soda and I still don’t understand the BIG deal? I have to say calling all soda/pop Coke has always made me laugh.:)
