A couple nights ago, we watched The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep. During one part of the movie, Kyrie told me that the water was scary. “But you love the water,” I replied, and she corrected me: “I love swimming pools.” I must be raising a city girl!
She also thinks that our priest is Jesus. We’ve tried to correct her and explain that he’s not actually Jesus, but that he teaches us about Jesus. She still insists that he’s Jesus. This morning she looked up at him and said, “Jesus has glasses!”
A couple weeks ago, I was packing things up and came across my wedding gown. Out of curiosity, I tried it on to see if it still fit (it does — a little more tightly than it did on my wedding day) and Kyrie looked at me in awe and said, “You’re Cinderella!”

I love that– “Jesus has glasses!” And my goodness–you can fit into your wedding dress? I can’t zip mine up at all. That’s so sweet that she called you Cinderella.

One of the younger kids (I can’t remember who it was now) told us that our Pastor (Doug Wilson) was God.
